Read about signs of ovulation (lu posted on December 31st, 2011 )

If you’re like 20 percent of women, your body will send you a memo when it’s ovulating, in the form of a twinge of pain or a series of cramps in your lower abdominal area . You may not be aware of it, but you may be showing other signs of ovulation that you are at your most fertile.
You actually have a fertile window of about six days.
This window includes the five days before and the day of ovulation itself. So, if you have sex at some time during your fertile window, your freshly ovulated egg could meet live, healthy sperm and be fertilised.
From a visual standpoint, non-fertile cervical mucus will be opaque (can’t see through it) and of a white or yellow color. You’ll experience non-fertile CM both early and late in your cycle.
